ELM Capital Grants To Re-Open This Summer

After a period of uncertainty affecting many practitioners and landowners alike, the government has announced that the ELM Capital Grants that are currently frozen, will re-open this coming summer.

Defra have said that they will now process the 4,000 applications for capital grants that were held when the scheme was frozen.

In a blog post  released 25th February they also announced that they will oversee an uplift to Higher Level Stewardship (HLS) payment rates, and an extension to the Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) programme.
